Each of our cabins has its own private space, surrounded by the trees, flowers, and bushes we’ve planted with care.
There’s a playground for children to play freely, while adults can unwind at the barbecue or soak in the jacuzzi, all in complete privacy.
We love animals, so your pets are always welcome - they even have their own cozy spots waiting inside.
Many wooden details and interior touches were crafted by us to make the place feel warm and authentic.

Meet The Passionate Team Behind Sunset Mountains Village
Elena has been welcoming travelers to the Apuseni Mountains for years, and she knows exactly how to make every guest feel at home. She handles bookings, guest communication, and makes sure each house is spotless, sometimes so clean that even the mountain breeze is impressed. When she’s not preparing the perfect stay, you’ll find her hiking through the forest, greeting every dog, cow, and cat along the way.
Radu is our behind-the-scenes hero. With years of experience in hosting guests, he knows how to make everyone feel welcome, but his real magic shows up in wires, circuits, and blinking lights. Every electrical appliance in our houses has been installed, fixed, or lovingly threatened into working by Radu himself. Think of him as the Apuseni version of an electrician-wizard: calm, precise, and always carrying a screwdriver.
Valeria brings years of hosting experience and a beautifully refined eye for interior design to our village. She makes every guest feel welcome and every room feel like it came straight out of a mountain boutique magazine. If the cushions are perfectly arranged and the atmosphere feels “just right,” that’s Valeria’s magic at work.
Sergiu brings pilot-level precision to our village. A real aviator with a sharp, clear way of thinking, he makes sure everything runs smoothly on the ground too. Tech-skilled and detail-obsessed, he’s the reason you’re enjoying high-speed Wi-Fi in the middle of the Apuseni. If it works perfectly, chances are Sergiu checked it twice.
Mariana combines years of hosting experience with a natural talent for planning beautiful, functional interiors. She just knows where each piece of furniture belongs, creating rooms that feel balanced, cozy, and effortlessly welcoming. Always ready to help, she brings both kindness and a designer’s instinct to every corner of our village.

Vlad is our resident nature enthusiast and the brain behind this website and the Apuseni maps hanging proudly in our houses. If he’s not hiking, he’s convincing guests (very kindly!) to explore the Padiș plateau, kayak on Lake Beliș, and leave honest-but-glowing reviews about how amazing those maps look.
